Everybody writes posts on how to break into cybersecurity.

This industry has become the new gold rush, it's all the rage now and everybody feels the need to say something about it, especially if they never worked in info sec.

Well, today I re-read an old post I wrote at the start of my journey, in 2017, back when I was still looking for a way in. I was shocked by how clear my ideas where because many things I said back then came true for me.

On the other hand, this prompted additional considerations, after 8 years as a security consultant.
